MAPs for Professional and Family Care-Givers - New
The challenge of caring for a patient, parent, a spouse or a child in the midst of your busy life can feel overwhelming and leave you stressed out on a daily basis. This class series, taught in a gentle and gradual way, will offer you some vital yet simple tools of Mindful Awareness and ways to incorporate them into your daily lives. You will learn mindfulness meditation practices including sitting, walking meditations, and how to work with difficult thoughts and emotions. This is our basic MAPs for daily Living with a new emphasis on practices to develop greater mind-body awareness, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being. (We welcome nurses, activists, doctors, mental health professionals, healing arts professionals and those caring for family & friends)
